One for the history books! |

For any that are curious or maybe want to reminisce our days roaming the lands
of Everquest we have preserved the pages as they were when we defeated Planes of Power. There obviously was more to Everquest and Vita
than just Planes of Power but we were certainly in our prime and in many ways PoP was the fitting end to EQ. As such it
makes a fitting end for Vita in Everquest as well.

Outstanding night Vita! Not only did we get our first Quarm kill
but we also cleared Time flawlessly in 1 day with plenty of time leftover. Not really much to say that this happy
screenshot doesn't convey nicely. Also check out the screenshots section of our forums for Quarm on VitaVision(tm)

So now Quarm is dead. End of story, right? Oh no! SoE has a surprise
ending for Vita! We go to finish the script that happens after you defeat Quarm by freeing Zebuxoruk. The script continues
with him having a conversation with Druzzil Ro and time being reversed, porting the raid to Plane of Knowledge. Instead of
being ported safely to the top of the library in Maelin's room we get ported over the elevator shaft!
Vita gets the shaft!
|
A comical conclusion to a long, strange journey through this
challenging and often times frustrating expansion. Let the Quarm farming begin!

Gratz to the first Quarm loot winners!
Kresham - Bracer of the Inferno
Gemuse - Spool of Woven Time
Cassandria - Cord of Temporal Weavings

Keeping up the trend we pretty much owned shit
this week. On our first day we cleared all but Inny and Quarm in 6 hours. Not bad for our 7th cycle of only 2 days per week.
Our second day we got Inny face down in the gutter like Neesha after a night of drinking.
This was all done with 7 clerics and 1 druid (me!) in rotation so it was quite an impressive victory for us.
We couldn't kill Inny and not take a stab at Quarm so with our gimptastic heal force of 8 got Quarm to 82% on our first attempt and
57% on our second. Needless to say he won't be staring at us with those weee beady eyes much longer.
We killed Inny's foot! (and Suji of course)

Long awaited moment. We have arrived.

Impressive progress continues each week. Our first day was
smoother than Nads at a Nair convention. We got to Tier5 easily but due to 2 guilds clearing in 1 day this week
we actually got to Tier5 before it reset from our last effort so CT and RZ were not even up yet. Instead, we worked on Bert
and got him horizontal on our 2nd attempt.
On our second day we killed CT and RZ and got 3 quick attempts on
Inny before running out of time. We only got Inny to about 70% but we learned a lot for
next week. Expect Inny and Quarm dead very soon.
In non-PoP news we finally decided to pursue GoD progression and killed Weaponmaster to get some GoD flags. Expect more
GoD related news in the coming weeks.
Hah! Kill shot before he fell in the wall!

We built on last weeks second day success and blew
through to Tier5 on day one in our fastest effort yet. We also got 1 attempt on RZ. Day 2 was rough
as we were hurting bad for healers and for much of the night had only 7 clerics which made Tier5 pretty hard. We kept at
it and kept tweaking our strat until we finally got CT dead. Also got another RZ kill with literally seconds to spare on our
instance. Bert, Inny and Quarm soon! Nice work guys.
The easiest mob in Time my ass!

Gratz to all the loot winners! p.s. Neesha is a 2 Time God loot winnin loot whore!

A promising disappointment |

Well SoE delt us a disappointing blow this Time cycle with their lovely bugs.
On our first day in Time we had a mob late in Tier3 go under the world or something and could not
be targeted/killed/aggro'd causing us to get stuck and unable to proceed. By the time we sat out the end of our Tier instance we
just decided to call it a night rather than start all over. With only 2 days per week that is pretty lame but we made the best of it.
On day 2 we sucked it up and gave our best performance yet on Tier3. We had a small hiccup on TT but then proceeded to kick the
shit out of Tier4 downing the rest on first attempts including a near flawless VZ kill. We then killed RZ and got Bert and CT both to 60%
with a serious skeletal crew before calling the raid. So while it was disappointing to lose so much of our first day it was nice to
see that we could get to Tier5 in one day on a weekday no less. We did in one day this week what took us both days last week so even
with the bug we made good progress. Nice job Vita!
Nothing new but the rent and a clean RZ kill shot.

Gratz to all the new Time loot winners and gratz to me and Neesha for nearing the RPP cap! =p

Since I was out of game last week moving I not only missed our second trip to
Time but was unavailable to do an update so this one is a biggie. On our second trip to Time and with only
2 days to work with on our first week we did exceedingly well. We made significant progress from nearly beating Tier3 the first week
to busting into Tier4 the second week and killing Saryrn on our first ever attempt. We then proceeded to get Terris to 5% on our first attempt
and dead on the second attempt. Tallon Zek was next and got him to 40% before running out of time and being ported out. Pretty
kick ass for our 3rd day there and on Easter weekend no less.
This ass-kicking continued this week with our 3rd trip. Executed first 2 Tiers near flawless and though Tier3 was a bit close
we got it done. On our first day we managed to kill all of Tier4 save for Vallon Zek. Today on our second day we got right to VZ
and after some strat tweaks got him dead before our 1 hour timer ran out. We didn't want to go to bed with
nothing to show from Tier5 so we made RZ horizontal and even got CT to 60% with only 55 left on raid including only 5 clerics and 2
druids on rotation. Kick ass job guys!

Not gonna list all the loot cuz it's too much and I'm far too lazy but I would like
to say gratz to our first ever Time BP Winner!
Gratz Serek on Raex's Chestplate of Destruction!

After our first Rathe and Coir kill there was some stupid chatter from some dumbfuck
about us "not being ready for Time" but within 3 days downed Rathe and Coir again to show it wasn't some fluke and then
nabbed Xegony and Fennin to round out our Time reflagging in less than a week.
Yesterday and today was our first trip to Time and I have to say we did an outstanding job. Most of us had little
knowledge of what to expect beyond a very basic idea. In our first 2 days we almost got to tier 4. We got through 6 waves of Tier 3 on our first attempt and with only 64 people. Still
much to learn but we certainly are "ready".
As many "uber" guilds that go belly up and "family" guilds that don't make it very far, Vita defies description and I am very proud that
we have not only had the longevity to stick around but the determination to make it this far. Thanks to all the loyal Vita members new
and old!

Holy Shit! What a week for us! Just 2 short days ago we got
our first Coirnav kill and now we have our first Avatar of Earth kill. Welcome to The Plane of Time Vita! Much deserved!
There are many people behind the scenes in the guild and on the raids that make this shit happen but I really have to dedicate
this update to Uthal. He's an incredible raid leader and easily the best SK on this server. Not to mention he is
one hell of a great guy. I think I speak for the entire guild when I say thanks for all the patience and hard work you put into
keeping us moving and getting it done even when our progress was uncertain. We love you STD face!
|
Huge grats to the winners (except to Hayseed you little gay bastard!):
Dalthus - Leaf-twined Guards
Wytie - Ring of Flowing Stones
Kresham - Rosrak's Greaves of the Primal
Kulamiena - Essence of Earth
